We picked a rainy day to introduce ourselves.
On September 26, erba made its debut at the Legacy Cup at Surly Festival Field in Minneapolis. The sky did not cooperate. Nobody seemed to mind. It turns out a wet festival full of people in a good mood is still a field full of people in a good mood, and Minnesotans know a thing or two about jackets.

Hello, we’re erba
erba has a slang meaning in Italian, grass or weed. Our cannabis is grown right here with Minnesota cultivator Trawa, and we borrowed our outlook from our Italian Heritage: The Sweet Life, La Dolce Vita, is already happening in your life.
It’s the song you put on while you cook, the friends who stay too long after dinner, the half hour you walk your dog. We make cannabis to fit those moments. That means quality you can count on every time you open the tin, at a price that makes it a regular pleasure and not a special occasion. And Legacy Cup meant something more to us than just a cannabis festival.
This was our launch. The erba brand and Minnie’s, our half-gram pre-rolls, were out in public for the very first time in our packaging with us standing behind them.
We built a booth we were proud of, then stood back to see what people thought. They told us, all day long. We tried to be cool about the compliments. We were not cool about the compliments.

The bag situation
We brought erba yellow and cream striped totes to give away, and more than 2,000 of them left with you.
By the afternoon you could walk around and spot them everywhere. People carried them around like a badge of honor. And we are honored.

The farm came to town
A big part of our booth team came up from the Trawa farm to work the booth. They spend most of their days with the plants. For one day they got to meet the people on the other end, shake hands, and answer questions about what they grow.
They also had a blast, rain and all.

Next year, we compete
First you say hello. Then you ask to be judged.
Next year, we’re in. The debate over which of our favorite strains to enter has already started, and it is going about as calmly as you’d expect.
Where to find Minnie’s
You don’t have to wait for the next festival. Minnie’s are on shelves now at RISE and Legacy, plus 40+ other dispensaries around the Twin Cities. Stop by your local shop and ask for them by name.
To everyone who visited the booth, said something kind, or walked off into the rain with a bag: Grazie. It was a very good first day.
For adults 21 and older. Please enjoy responsibly, and keep cannabis locked away from children and pets.
